The Sun is in the
centre of the solar system it accounts for 99.8% of the mass of the
solar system. The Romans called the Sun Sol in Greek Mythology it was
called Helios. It is a million times bigger than earth. Everything in the solar system
revolves around it. The Suns core reaches 150000
ºc.
It
rotates on its axes every 25.4 days. The Sun's full
beam would kill everything on earth but we are protected by the earths
magnetic field.
